Galloway Township Police have charged 51 individuals with participating in a large cockfighting ring that operated out of a home on South Bremen Avenue. Police identified the homeowner as Jose Madera, who was slapped with numerous animal cruelty charges. The suspects charged are from southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The operation included spectator seating and approximately 50 roosters were recovered.
