Avalon Holds the Line on Taxes, No Increase in ’24 Budget

Avalon will not be increasing taxes in 2024. The municipal budget was introduced during the Borough Council meeting Wednesday, and includes no increase in the local purpose tax rate. Avalon maintains its AAA bond rating from Standard and Poors, and continues having no long term, general obligation debt. The budget will be presented at the April 12th council meeting.
