Avalon Police and county investigators are investigating a “swatting” incident on Sunday where an individual called to say he murdered someone, and would kill police if they showed up. The call turned out to be a hoax. One day prior, Avalon Police received a call about a bomb threat; that also turned out to be a hoax.
