Beach maintenance operations are underway in two local communities who are getting ready for summer. In Avalon, equipment is now on the beach scraping sand that will be transported to the northern end of the community to repair damage from winter storms. Sea Isle City continues with its hydraulic beach fill project with work this week performed in the 70’s blocks, and beach paths being restored.
