On September 28, 45 year old Allen Miller Jr of Vineland was killed in a hit and run that happened just before 3am on eastbound Route 40. The driver, 23 year old Christopher Poore, will be facing charges of leaving the scene of an accident, and tampering with evidence. Allen Miller Jr was a lifelong resident of Pittsgrove, according to NJ Advance Media, and a Navy veteran.
