Cape May County appears ready to move on from a DRBA-operated Cape May Airport. The County issued a statement from Commission Director Len Desiderio which announces his recommendation that the Board seek another alternative to an airport operated by the DRBA. Desiderio took the DRBA to task over approving a lease for an indoor sports facility without the lease even being prepared, and nothing presented to the County. Desiderio says it is a clear indication that the DRBA has no desire to continue a partnership with the County.
