Egg Harbor Township Emergency Medical Services announced the death of longtime EMT David Austin on Tuesday, who unexpectedly passed away following a 12-hour shift. Austin was an EMT for 30 years and had previously been a part of services in both Cape May and Atlantic counties. David Austin began working for Egg Harbor Township EMS in 2022.
