The former director of the Cape May County CBRNE Task Force is facing theft and forgery charges over an alleged scheme to personally profit from emergency response training sessions. Prosecutors say 67-year-old Anthony Robinson created a private company to bill local fire departments for HAZMAT classes, even though the training was already being funded by an emergency preparedness grant. Robinson was arrested on Thursday after authorities searched his Lower Township home, and he has since been released on a summons pending an upcoming court appearance.
