Former Corrections Officer Convicted on Sexually Assaulting Minor

A former corrections officer at the Cape May County Jail has been convicted on charges that he sexually assaulting a minor at the facility last year. 34 year old Jonathan Perez of Woodbine was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault and other offenses. Sentencing will occur in June.
