NJ Advance Media reports that former Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron has plead guilty to fraudulently participating in the State Health Benefits Program plus additional charges regarding income reports on state tax returns. Byron was previously indicted in 2023 along with Mayor Ernest Troiano Jr and City Commissioner Steve Mikulski, who both plead not guilty to the charges.
