On October 15, Detective Monica Mosley was shot and killed at her home in Bridgeton, Cumberland County. Four men charged with murder and one other charged with covering up evidence say they cannot get a fair trial in Cumberland County because of Mosley’s close ties to local law enforcement throughout her career. According to NJ Advance Media, defense attorneys have asked for the case to be moved to Atlantic County.
