The Atlantic County man accused of running a cockfighting ring will stay in jail before his trial. A judge ruled Tuesday Jose Madera of Egg Harbor City will stay behind bars for the time being. Madera is accused of running the cockfighting operation that resulted in dozens of people being arrested.
