Man Fatally Shot by Police Inside Disabled Vehicle in Middle Township

The state Attorney General’s Office reports that a man was fatally shot by police in Middle Township on Friday after he was found holding a knife to a woman who had already been stabbed. Authorities say the incident began shortly after 10 a.m. when officers approached a disabled vehicle near the intersection of Route 9 and Satt Boulevard. After hearing screams coming from the car, police forced their way inside and confronted the armed man, which led to the fatal shooting.
