New State Budget Near Completion, Includes Tax Hikes on Big Business

Lawmakers in Trenton and pushing a new state budget towards the finish line. The new budget totals over $56 billion and includes higher taxes on large corporations that do business in the Garden State. The state will also quickly phase out a sales tax waiver on the sale of electric vehicles. As of now, a plan to increase the New Jersey sales tax is not part of the budget.
