The New Jersey Department of Transportation has announced road work on routes 47 and 9 in Cape May County that will last several months. On Route 47, the work will be conducted just north of milepost 18.3 in Dennis Township and will include nighttime lane closures. On Route 9, the work will be done in Middle Township between Birch Road and Goshen-Swainton Road, including alternating lane closures.
