Northfield Mayor Erland Chau is suspended from officiating high school sports through the NJSIAA following an event where he brandished a started pistol during an argument with a woman in a parking lot. NJ.com reports that Chau is also facing calls from his party to resign. Local police charged Chau with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, disorderly conduct and harassment.
