Ocean City Mayor: Have to Figure Out a Plan for Trash

Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian says the city needs to figure out a plan for trash collection as trash cans keep getting bigger, but the ordinance does not allow bigger cans. A private contractor will continue to collect cans up to 64 gallons in size, but not larger. Recently Avalon moved towards standardized trash cans that have reduced tipping fees and increased recycling.
