A Pleasantville man is facing attempted murder charges following an early Sunday morning double stabbing in Egg Harbor Township. Police say 36-year-old Carlos Garcia-Moreno stabbed two people multiple times in their faces and bodies, though both victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive. Garcia-Moreno later turned himself in to authorities and is currently being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on numerous serious charges, including home invasion, terroristic threats, and child endangerment.
