Report: Sweeney Raising Big Cash for Gubernatorial Bid in ’25

Former democratic Senate president Steve Sweeney is lining up big bucks in his bid to secure the democratic nomination for governor next year. New Jersey Globe reports that Sweeney has raised over $1.2 million since December. During Sweeney’s last bid for elected office, he lost his Senate seat to a republican unknown.
