Report: Town Backs off Plan to Gas Geese to Death at Local Pond

Peapack/Gladstone has backed off a controversial plan that would have rounded up local geese that have been dropping bird waste a pond so they could be gassed to death. Officials now say instead of gassing the geese, they will try bird repellent and other methods to disperse the geese, according to a report on NJ.com.
