The Stone Harbor Borough Council heard an earful from its Chamber of Commerce and a few business interests during its meeting Tuesday. The head of the Chamber came to the meeting asking why a special events permit was not being acted on for a September event when it was turned in earlier this summer. Other business interests spoke at the meeting complaining about the lack of attention and responsiveness by town leaders to the business community during the meeting. Mayor Judy Davies Dunhour said Council is throwing “stumbling blocks” in front of the business community.
