Wildwood to Set Aside $11 Million for Lead Pipe Program

Wildwood city officials will meet Wednesday and are expected to introduce an $11 million bond ordinance to comply with the state’s lead water pipe identification and replacement program. All communities in the state must spend money to identify the locations of lead water pipes, and replace them when found. Mayor Ernie Troiano will also be appointed to the Wildwood Business Improvement District board.
