Wildwood Tram Engine Takes Rare Off-Boardwalk Trip to Honor Late Driver

A famous Wildwood tram engine took an unusual 70-mile journey off the boardwalk on Thursday to honor its longtime driver, 97-year-old John “Gigi” Gigliotti. Following Gigliotti’s death last week, the local business community transported a tram engine dedicated in his name to his viewing at a Woodbury funeral home. Friends and colleagues organized the unique tribute to ensure a fitting goodbye for the boardwalk veteran.
