John “Gigi” Gigliotti, the recognizable and beloved driver of the Wildwoods Boardwalk Sightseer Tram Cars, has passed away at the age of 97. An Army veteran and former railroad conductor, Gigliotti spent 35 years driving visitors up and down the New Jersey boardwalk before his retirement earlier this year. He was a fixture of the Jersey Shore known for his friendly interactions and dedicated work ethic, leaving behind a legacy that includes a 2016 tram engine dedicated in his honor.
