Massive New ShopRite Under Construction in Galloway Township

A brand new, 86,000-square-foot ShopRite is currently under construction on Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway Township and will eventually replace the township’s existing, smaller location. The expanded supermarket will offer wider aisles, larger departments, and two additional retail buildings on the property to accommodate the rapidly growing community. While an exact grand opening date has not yet been announced, the store is expected to open by late 2026 or early 2027, and developers say they will soon be surveying local residents to gather feedback on what they would like to see in the new store.
