New Jersey Man Sentenced for Bomb Threat at D.C. Church

A Vineland, New Jersey, man is heading to federal prison after threatening to detonate explosives at a Washington, D.C., church attended by U.S. Supreme Court justices last year. Forty-two-year-old Louis Geri was sentenced to nearly six years behind bars, followed by three years of supervised release. Federal prosecutors had originally requested a sentence of more than eight years for the threat.
