The City of North Wildwood is launching the second phase of its multiyear boardwalk reconstruction project starting on or around Monday, October 5th. This phase requires the complete demolition and rebuilding of boardwalk sections between 16th and 17 1/2 avenues, as well as 23rd and 24 1/2 avenues, which will be entirely closed to public access. Additionally, the North Wildwood Dog Park and adjacent beach area will close ahead of the project on Wednesday, September 30th for safety reasons, with all current reconstruction anticipated to conclude by late March 2027.
