The City of Wildwood, New Jersey, announced that boardwalk construction is officially underway. The section of the boardwalk from Hand Avenue to Bennett Avenue is currently closed to the public and is scheduled to remain closed until May 8, 2027. Additional closures will take effect in October, with the stretch from Bennett Avenue to Cresse Avenue closing on October 5th, followed by the Oak Avenue to Maple Avenue section closing on October 13th.
