The City of Wildwood has been awarded a $4 million grant from the Economic Development Authority to complete its ongoing boardwalk rehabilitation project. During a recent commission meeting, Mayor Ernest Troiano, Jr. announced the funding alongside news that the city received a Plan Endorsement Renewal and Center Designation recertification from the New Jersey State Planning Commission. This critical designation will fast-track local development and allow the city to permit construction on 80% of its property, which is a significant increase from the previous 3% limit.
